BIP - Biotech Incubation Partners
is a team of people who all worked for several years in different disciplines in reknown biotech
companies. We are dedicated to use our broad expertise to assist young and/or starting biotech companies.
This concept was initiated in 2001 by Dr. Hugo Van Heuverswyn, founder and former CEO of Innogenetics, presently one of the leading biotech companies in Europe.
Dr. Willem Beeckman, joined the group as Business Development Manager and has gained over 12 years
of experience in various positions involving research, product development, marketing and business development in Eurogenetics and
Innogenetics, two Belgian biotech companies.
Ir. Kristin Heirwegh, joined
the group as Operations Manager and brings with her 20 years
of practical experiences in research, logistics, transport,
safety issues, . of which 15 years in various positions in Innogenetics.
David Van Heuverswyn, pharmacist and computer literate of the group.
Sonia Bier, the management assistant takes care of all administrative items and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
